A 30 day graphic design challenge. This design challenge required me to choose a concept and produce a design each day for 30 days. I chose to design editorial spreads that focuses on retrospective surf culture with a modernist aesthetic. The reason I chose to design an editorial spread each day is because it focuses on important design principles such as hierarchy, typography, layout, composition, and imagery. All photographs are 35mm film shot on my Canon ae-1 to align with the modernist aesthetic of each editorial spread.
