FUTURES FINS.

Futures fins is a globally favored high performance surf brand focusing on quality equipment ranging from fins, fin boxes, traction, apparel, and more.

As a graphic and product designer there, I work on a variety of projects such as graphics for fins, POP, tech packs for production, print collateral such as catalogs and product sheets for sales representatives, participating and conducting photo shoots, product photography, website management, campaign conceptualization and more.

Campaigns

Campaigns have an important role in regards to consumer awareness and driving product sales. For each of the following campaigns, my role was designing for social and all other GTM initiatives, shooting on location with team riders and shapers, editing photography, preparing files for appropriate application, such as for print, Instagram, web banners, and other screen based devices. I have worked on a variety of campaigns for Channel Islands, Signature fins for Conner and Parker Coffin, Zack Flores, the Son Of Cobra, and more.

In addition, photographing products in the photo studio, editing, and uploading them to the e-commerce store, were all a part of my day to day functions in relation to photography.

P.O.P

Point of purchase (POP) is used to encourage and drive sales through the use of various marketing strategies and techniques, such as window ads and diplays, editorial ads, social media, and web banners.

Featured are a variety of POP displays I designed for windows in the U.S. and Australia, editorial ad for SURFER, and in-store merchandising to name a few.

GRAPHIC AND PRODUCT DESIGN

I was able to work on a variety of fins with the creative team and professional surfers, which was a great learning experience. Furthering my understanding of color theory, tech pack creation, production, and seeing the finished product from initial concept to its tangible form.

I also created and designed a new look and feel for all of Futures’ single and twin fins category.

CATALOG/ZINE

This catalog was designed with a zine like aesthetic and format for Futures’ single and twin fin category. I was tasked with making sure the look and feel resonated with the correct demographic and tied into the collection as a whole while highlighting product.

I shot and provided a majority of the images featured alongside Blaine Suque, who shot all of the water imagery.
