ROARK

Roark is an apparel brand rooted in travel and exploration. Each season is inspired by a new destination where surfing, climbing, skateboarding, and adventure is at the forefront.

Here I showcase work from my time at Roark as their Digital Graphic Designer.

WEB BANNERS

An important part of my role as a Digital Designer was to design and create web banners for the Roark website. These banners consisted of campaign launches, collaborations, seasonal and product promotions, and more.

Email design was another important part of my day to day tasks at Roark. Creating visually engaging email designs was a tricky task. It was important for me to make them look less generated and more designed. I created emails for campaign launches, product pushes, sales and promotions, events, and more.

EMAIL DESIGN

ORGANIC SOCIAL

I designed organic social assets for Roark’s mainline, and Run categories from product pushes to campaign launches.

PAID SOCIAL

Designed paid social assets for seasonal campaigns, collections, and product highlights across various platforms such as for social, Surfline, Stab Magazine, and more.

ILLUSTRATION

I had the opportunity to Illustrate for a variety of Roark events such as the opening of their Park City, Utah location during the Sundance Film Festival where many events took place, and for a brand wide event.

P.O.P

I Designed and created modular mag stand fixtures for seasonal in-store campaign launches and more. Featured is the Roark X Hinano beer collection where I designed graphics for the mag stands and used Tahitian tiki sculptures and hand roughed beer bottles in addition to tie into the overarching collection and serve as artifacts of travel. In addition to these assets, I participated in designing window assets, editorial ads, and other in-store collateral.

I also had the pleasure of designing Roark’s New Zealand Winter collection ad for Monster Children Magazine.

EVENT FLYERS

I was tasked with designing engaging and creative event flyers for numerous Roark happenings. I really enjoyed the process of making event flyers and exploring ways to make them visually fun and exciting to intrigue and encourage the community to participate.
